Jacob W Whipkey 
Jacob W was born on September 26th, 1832 in Somerset county, PA.1 Jacob W's father was David Whipkey and his mother was Mary Henry. His paternal grandparents were Henry B Whipkey and Elizabeth Keefer. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Jonas, Silas, Elizabeth, Mary, Susanna, Eva Ann, Rachel and Nancy A. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 70 on January 16th, 1903 in Mt. Carmel Cemetary, Springbull Township, Greene Co., Penn.1 General Notes
