Miranda Powell 
Miranda was born in June 1843 in KY.1 Miranda's father was John Powell and her mother was Mary Martin. Her paternal grandparents were Charles POWELL and Sarah Leah GOLDMAN; her maternal grandparents were Unknown Martin and Susannah. She had three brothers and a sister, named James M., John G., Walton and Amanda. She was the second youngest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Elijah T., Thomas Harrison and Missouri A.. She died at the age of 17 on January 25th, 1861 in Highland, Doniphan Co, KS. She was buried in Martin Cemetery, Highland, Doniphan Co., KS.1 1 -
