David Mattox 
David was born in 1815.1 David's father was Michael Mial Mattox and his mother was Ruth Byran. His paternal grandparents were David Mattox and Sarah Perkins; his maternal grandparents were Reddin Bryan and Sheba Petty. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Redden B., Redden B., Wiliam J., John Calvin, Evaline, Mahaly, Mary C. and Sarah W.. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
