Jessie Thomas Maples 
Jessie Thomas was born on December 20th, 1855 in Carroll County, Arkansas.1 Jessie Thomas' father was James Gunter Maples and his mother was Ann Catherine Tate. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Maples and Jemimah; his maternal grandparents were Jessie Thomas Tate and Isabell Sapp. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James Alexander, Joseph Seaman, William Burl, Benjamin Crittenden, Henry Clay, Mary Catherine, Martha Isabel, Charlotte B. and Telitha G.. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Russell Reno and Sarah Jane. He died at the age of 76 on July 24th, 1932 in Boone County, Arkansas.1 -
