Gunhilda of Wessex 
Gunhilda of Wessex was born about 1024.1 Gunhilda of Wessex's father was Godwin of Wessex and her mother was Gytha Thorkilsdottir. Her paternal grandfather was Wulfnoth of Sussex; her maternal grandparents were Jarl Thorkill Sprakalaeg and Sigrid Sprakalegg. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Sveyn, Harold II, Tostig, Gyrth, Leofwine, Wulfnoth of Wessex, Alfgar of Wessex, Edith Eadgyth of Wessex, Elgiva of Wessex and Driella of Wessex. She died on August 24th, 1087 in Bruges, Flanders. She was buried in Bruges Cathedral.1 1 General Notes
