1 Hugh le's father was Hugh II le Despencer and his mother was Aliva Bassett. His paternal grandfather was Hugh de Despencer; his maternal grandparents were Philip Basset and Ela Longespe. He had two sisters named Eleanor le and Joan Anne le. He died due to hanged on October 27th, 1326 in Bristol, England.1 General Notes
