Aymer le was born in 1150 in Of Ryhale, Rutland, Eng.1   Aymer le's father was Thurstan le Despenser.  His paternal grandparents were William Talvas (le Despenser) Montgomery and Alix Ala de Burgundy. He had three brothers named Walter le, Hugh le and Galfridus Geoffrey' le.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 43 in 1193.1
