Hugh de Despencer 
Hugh de was born in 1197 in of Ryhall, Rutlandshire, England.1 Hugh de's father was Thomas le Despenser and his mother was Rohese de Despenser. His paternal grandparents were Aymer le Dispensator and Maud (Amabil) de Chesney. He was an only child. He died at the age of 41 in 1238 in Sibsey & Aukborough, Lincolnshire.1 General Notes
