George Cocanougher

George was born in October 1850.¹ George's father was William Cocanougher and his mother was Elizabeth Young. His paternal grandparents were George Cocanougher and Martha Hilton. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Marcus D. L., Frances L. and Martha. He was the oldest of the five children.
