William Hyle Carpenter 
William Hyle was born on February 3rd, 1855.1 William Hyle's father was William Wesley Carpenter and his mother was Sarah W. Mattox. His paternal grandparents were William Carpenter and Amelia Rudisill; his maternal grandparents were Michael Mial Mattox and Ruth Byran. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named James, Eli, Laura Ann, Henrietta, Martha Jane, Ruth E., Beuthia E., Harriter and LAWRENCE Ann. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Dennis L., Stephen S., Wllis F., Dorthula and Hattie. He died at the age of 85 on December 30th, 1940.1 -
