Laura Ann Carpenter 
Laura Ann was born on January 14th, 1853.1 Laura Ann's father was William Wesley Carpenter and her mother was Sarah W. Mattox. Her paternal grandparents were William Carpenter and Amelia Rudisill; her maternal grandparents were Michael Mial Mattox and Ruth Byran. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James, William Hyle, Eli, Henrietta, Martha Jane, Ruth E., Beuthia E., Harriter and LAWRENCE Ann. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Dennis L., Stephen S., Wllis F., Dorthula and Hattie. She died at the age of 62 on November 7th, 1915.1 -
