Eleanor was born in 1709 in MD.1 Eleanor's father was John Bowie and her mother was Mary Mullikin. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Bowy and Jane Smith; her maternal grandparents were James Mulligan and Jane Prather. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, James, Allen, Thomas, William and Mary. She was the second oldest of the seven children.General Notes
