Her paternal grandparents were Renaud I de Burgundy and Adelais (Judith) de Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Adalbert III de Lorraine and Clemenece de Carcassonne. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Guy de, Raimund de, Rainald II de, Stephen de, Hugues de, Eudes de, Ermentrude, Sibylle de, Bertha de, Clemence de, Etienette de, Guillaume de and Maud de.
