Renaud I de was born in 0990 in Bourgogne, France.1 Renaud I de's father was Othon-Guillaume de Macon and his mother was Ermentrude de Roucy. His paternal grandparents were Adalbert de Italia and Gerberga de Macon; his maternal grandparents were Renaud de Roucy and Alberada de Lorraine. He had a brother and three sisters, named Gui I de, Gerberga de, Agnes de and Matilda de. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named son de, Count Of Tonnerre, Albert II de, Otho de, Guy de and Beatrix de. He died at the age of 67 on September 4th, 1057 in France.1 General Notes
