Frank B. Simmons 
Frank B. was born on December 9th, 1877 in Williamsburg, Iowa Co., IA. Frank B.'s father was John Baker Simmons and his mother was Mary Stevenson Long. His paternal grandparents were Baker Howard Simmons and Teresa Ann Jarboe; his maternal grandparents were William Long and Hannah Smith. He had four brothers and a sister, named Charles Glenville, John Willard, Fred Albert, Edwin Allen and Anna Louise. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on March 29th, 1958 in Iowa Co., IA.General Notes

Never married. For eight years he worked for the Fred Karsten Clothing
Store, later he bought an interest in the Haas Drug store, later known as
the Swezey and Simmons Drug company. After 20 years in the business he
retired. He lived the last 4 1/2 months of his life with his nephew and
wife, Mr. and Mrs. Howell Simmons where he was cared for until his
death. Fred Karsten was the husband of Madge (Marjorie) Simmons,
daughter of Charles Alonzo "Long" Simmons and Mary "Molly" Sinks Simmons.
