George Meier

George was born on October 13th, 1868 in High Amana, IA.  George's father was George Meier and his mother was Catharine Schlaf. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John Heinrich, William, Augusta, Katharina, Wilhelmina Bertha, Louisa, Magdalena and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 35 on March 20th, 1904 in High Amana, IA.  He was buried in 1904 in High Amana, IA.^1 2
