Augusta Meier

Augusta was born on September 24th, 1851 in Germany.  Augusta's father was George Meier and her mother was Catharine Schlaf. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John Heinrich, William, George, Katharina, Wilhelmina Bertha, Louisa, Magdalena and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 64 on July 13th, 1916 in Amana, Iowa Co., IA.  She was buried on July 15th, 1916 in Amana, Iowa Co., IA.¹
