Edwin Martinson

Edwin was born in 1886 in Iowa Co., IA.  Edwin's father was Knud W. Martinson and his mother was Ellen Larson.  His paternal grandparents were Martin Martinson and Annie Peterson; his maternal grandparents were Elling Larson and Berta Thostenson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Martin Knud, Carl Elmer, Leonard Theodore, Frank Wilmer, Bertha Malinda, Anna Mathilda, Alma Charlotte and Edvena Bertina.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 13 on April 14th, 1899 in Iowa Co., IA.  He was buried in 1899 in Iowa Co., IA.¹
