Carl Elmer Martinson

Carl Elmer was born on January 3rd, 1892 in Iowa Co., IA.  Carl Elmer's father was Knud W. Martinson and his mother was Ellen Larson.  His paternal grandparents were Martin Martinson and Annie Peterson; his maternal grandparents were Elling Larson and Berta Thostenson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Martin Knud, Edwin, Leonard Theodore, Frank Wilmer, Bertha Malinda, Anna Mathilda, Alma Charlotte and Edvena Bertina.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 77 on August 24th, 1969 in Iowa Co., IA.  He was buried in 1969 in Iowa Co., IA.
