John Jarboe 
John was born about 1800 in MD. John's father was Raphael Jarboe and his mother was Catherine Redmond Barnes. His paternal grandparents were John Baptist Jarboe and Elizabeth Abell; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Barnes and Catherine Rousby. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, William B., Raphael, Jr., Samuel Grafton, Catherine and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
