Alice was born before 1708 and her baptism took place on February 8th, 1708 in Holkham. Alice's father was John Thacker and her mother was Ann Hutchingson. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, William, Thomas, Robert and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children.
