Jane Wilton Steere

Jane was born before 1825 and her baptism took place on August 28th, 1825 in Aveton Gifford Devon.¹   Jane's father was Philip Steer and her mother was Jane (Jenny) Wilton.  Her paternal grandparents were George Sture and Fanny Prouse. She had two brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Mary, Fanny, Ann and Hannah.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died in 1906 in Plymouth.²
