John Steer

John was born before 1790 and his baptism took place on May 5th, 1790 in Ashprington Devon.¹   John's father was Philip Sture and his mother was Mary Paige (of Harleston).  His paternal grandparents were Henry Sture and Anne Whiteway. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Philip, William, Henry, Mary, Susanna, Betsy, Sarah and Ann.  He died in 1796.  He was buried in 1796 in Ashprington Devon.¹
