John Steer 
John was born on February 8th, 1857 in Myton, Hull and his baptism took place on February 26th, 1857 in Holy Trinity, Hull.1 John's father was William Steer and his mother was Janet Hamlin. His paternal grandparents were William Steer and Mary Wood. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Thomas, Jasper, Jannett, Mary, Ada, Clara, Margaret and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 84 on February 15th, 1941 in 28 Castle Street, Grimsby. He was buried on February 19th, 1941 in Scartho Road Cemetery, Grimsby.1 1 -
