Jasper Steer

Jasper was born before 1837 and his baptism took place on June 5th, 1837 in Brixham  Devon.¹   Jasper's father was Jasper Steer and his mother was Harriett Wooton.  His paternal grandparents were William Steer and Mary Wood. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, John, Mary, Sarah, Harriett, Joanna, Maria, Elizabeth, Anne, Ann and Emma.  He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.
