James Steer

James was born in 1842 in Wisborough Green, Sussex and his baptism took place there on October 23rd, 1842.^1 2

James' father was Henry Steer and his mother was Ann steer. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Henry, William, John, George, Robert, Stephen, Thomas and Sarah.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.
