Iris Irene Steer

Iris was born on September 9th, 1891 in Grimsby Lincolnshire and her baptism took place on October 2nd, 1891 in New Clee.¹

Birth Notes

Iris' father was Jasper Steer and her mother was Alice Atkinson. Her paternal grandparents were William Steer and Janet Hamlin. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Jasper, Harry, Adolphus, Albert, Amelia, Ada, Elsie and Nellie. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 in October 1964. She was buried on October 26th, 1964 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire..¹
