Daniel was born in 1726 and his baptism took place on October 17th, 1726 in Fittleworth Sussex.1  Daniel's father was Thomas Steer and his mother was Mary. He had five brothers and three sisters, named George, Thomas, James, William, David, Mary, Elizabeth and Anne.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died in 1726.  He was buried on November 29th, 1726 in Fittleworth Sussex.1
