Beneficiary mentioned in the will of Edward STEER made 1813.Will of George STEER: "I George Steer of the Parish of Westerhamin the county of Kent being of sound mind do make and publishthis as my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke andmake void all other wills codicils and testamentary [____] by mehitherto made first I give and bequeath unto my dear WifeElizabeth Steer one clear annuity of thirty pounds a year duringher natural life to be paid to her by four equal quarterlypayments in the year the first quarterly payment thereof tobegin and be made at the expiration of three calendar monthsafter my decease I also give and bequeath unto my two DaursAlicia Steer and Jane Steer the sum of ten pounds every year toboth of them after they have attained the age of twenty oneyears until they have attained the age of twenty five years andlonger and during their minority I direct they shall be atliberty to continue with my son Edward Steer and receive theirboard lodging and cloathing at his expence for their [____][_____] provided they remain single and when they have attainedthe age of twenty five years I do further direct that myexecutrix and executors do pay unto my aforesaid daurs AliciaSteer and Jane Steer two hundred pounds each for their own useand benefit at which time I do relieve my son Edward Steer fromthe obligation of supporting my said two daughters within sixmonths after the death of my wife Elizabeth Steer I give andbequeath unto my two daus in addition to the aforesaid [___] toAlicia Steer the sum of three hundred pounds and to Jane Steerthe sum of three hundred pounds to be paid by my Excrs for theirown use and benefit and I hereby hereby subject and charge myFarm at Crockham Hill now in my occupation and all other my realand personal Estate with the due payment of the aforesaidlegacies and annuities and the residue of my property andEffects real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever I give andbequeath to my son Edward Steer subject nevertheless at thediscretion of my Exors to the payment of all my just debtsfuneral expences and proving this my last Will and Testament andI do hereby appoint my wife Elizabeth Steer and my brotherWilliam Steer and my son Edward Steer Extrix and Exors of thismy last Will and Testament with full power and authority to giveand sign good and effectual receipt and discharges for allmonies which may come to their hands as Executrix and Exors Inwitness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament setand subscribed my hand and seal third day of June one thousandeight hundred and sixteen - George Steer (seal mark) - Signedsealed published and declared by the said George Steer theTestor as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence ofus who at his request in his presence and in the presence ofeach other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses -David Stone Brasted - Thomas Keath Westerham - James CreasyBrasted.
