I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personalestate whatsoever and wheresoever whereof I may be [ ]possessed, interested in or entitled unto at the time of mydecease subject to the payment by my executor[ ] hereinafternamed of all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expensesunto my two daughters Eliza STEER and Sophia STEER, theirrespective heirs, executors, administrators and assigns fortheir own absolute use and benefit. As to my real estate to holdthe same as tenants in common and not as joint tenants. And asto [ ] part of my personal estate as shall [ ] of leaseholdproperty subject to the rent [ ] [ ] and agreements respectivelyreserved by and [ ] in the leases thereof to hold the same astenants in common and not as joint tenants. And as to all suchother parts of my said personal estate as shall consist ofmonies, [ ], [ ] and [ ] for money and other goods, chattels andeffects to be divided equally between the said Eliza STEER andSophia STEER, share and share alike. But I declare that themoiety or share of my said real and personal estate given,devised and bequeathed to the said Sophia STEER as aforesaidshall not [ ] a vested interest in her until she shall obtainthe age of twenty one years or marry under that age. And I alsodeclare that the said real and personal estate so given, devisedand bequeathed to my said daughters as aforesaid shall be fortheir several and respective sole and separate use, benefit anddisposal and free from the debts [ ] and engagements of anyhusbands or husband with whom they or either of my saiddaughters may intermarry and that the [ ] of my said daughtersrespectively, notwithstanding reverture and shall be valid andeffectual discharges of the same. And I also declare that such [] as I may have made or may hereafter make to either of my saiddaughters shall be in addition to and not in satisfaction of theshare of my estate or on any part thereof or other benefit ofeither of them given by this my Will. But if at the time of mydecease the said Sophia STEER shall not have attained the age oftwenty one years or be married under that age, then I trust andempower the said Eliza STEER to apply all or any part of thecapital yearly income and monies forming part of or arising outof my estate to which I [ ] the dispositions hereinaftercontained she the said Sophia STEER shall be entitled orpresumptively entitled towards the maintenance and advancementin the world or otherwise for the benefit of the said SophiaSTEER during her minority or until her marriage under the age oftwenty one years and also during such minority or until suchmarriage of the said Sophia STEER to deliver to her all or anypart of the goods and chattels to which she shall be entitled orpresumptively entitled as aforesaid, which the said Eliza STEERshall in her discretion think fit and proper for the said SophiaSTEER. And in case the said Sophia STEER shall depart this lifeunder the age of twenty one years without leaving any husbandher surviving and in the lifetime of the said Eliza STEER Igive, devise and bequeath the said moiety or share of my saidreal and personal estate devised and bequeathed to the saidSophia STEER as aforesaid unto the said Eliza STEER, her heirs,executors and administrators and assigns absolutely, and Ihereby nominate [ ] and appoint my daughters the said ElizaSTEER and Sophia STEER Executrices of this my Will, and Iappoint the said Eliza STEER during her life and after herdecease I appoint my son John STEER guardian of the person andestate of the said Sophia STEER until she shall attain the ageof twenty one years or be married. And I hereby revoke allformer and other wills, codicils, testamentary dispositions andappointments whatsoever by me at any time heretofore made anddeclare this to be my last will and testament. In witnesswhereof I the said George STEER have hereunto set my hand thistwenty first day of October one thousand eight hundred and sixtyone. George STEER. Power reservedof making the life grant to Sophia STEER, spinster, thedaughter, also the other executrix having attained the age oftwenty one years. On 25th day of October 1870. The will ofGeorge STEER, formerly of No 22, Munster Street, Regents Park inthe county of Middlesex but late of No 128, Stanhope Street,Regents Park aforesaid, deceased, who died on the 20th day ofAugust 1870 was proved in the Principal Registry of HerMajesty's Court of Probate, by the Oath of Eliza STEER of No128, Stanhope Street aforesaid, Spinster the daughter, one ofthe executrices named in the said will, she having been firstsworn duly to administer, power being reserved of grantingProbate of the said Will toSophia STEER Spinster the daughter also the other executrixnamed in the said will, she having obtained the age of twentyone years.
