George F was born about 1879 in Faversham, Kent.1   George F's father was William H STEARS and his mother was Elizabeth STEARS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Walter, Herbert, Ada, Emily and Sarah K.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
