Charlotte E was born about 1867 in Bristol, Gloucestershire.1   Charlotte E's father was Henry STEAR and her mother was Sarah J STEAR. She had three brothers and a sister, named Henry G, Frederick W, Edward and Edith.  She was the second oldest of the five children.
