Thomas Joseph (Joe) was born on October 21st, 1913 in Katanning, Western Australia. Thomas Joseph (Joe)'s father was Joseph Thomas (Joe) Newbey and his mother was Alice Steer. His paternal grandparents are Newbey and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Edward William Steer and Sarah Hinge. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edward William, James Herbert (Jim), Norman Lindsay, Brenda Alice and Linda May. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 79 on April 10th, 1993 in Collie, West Australia. He was buried in Karrakatta, Western Australia.-
