Edward (Steele?) was born on January 25th, 1819 in Crockham Hill Kent. Edward (Steele?)'s father was Edward Steer and his mother was Ann Field Dalton.  His paternal grandparents were George Stear and Elizabeth. He had a sister named Charlotte.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 78 on January 5th, 1898 in Langhorne Creek, South Australia, Australia.
