John C Hockings 
John C was born on April 14th, 1872 in Brixham Devon. John C's father was William Carlile Hockings and his mother was Alice Ann Brokenshire. His paternal grandparents were John Hockings and Ann Hooper; his maternal grandparents were William Sanders Brokenshire and Alice Ann Tuckett. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William T, William H, Emma, Lizzie T, Emma A, Alice Margaret and Annie H. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died about 1957.-
