Emma Vercoe's father was William  Sanders Brokenshire and her mother was Alice Ann Tuckett.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Brokenshire and Dorothy; her maternal grandparents were William Tuckett and Margaret Ham. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Alice Ann.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died on January 23rd, 1859 in Brixham  Devon.
