William Waterhouse

William was born in 1819 and his baptism took place on July 11th, 1819 in Hayfield, Derby.^1 2

William's father was Joseph Waterhouse and his mother was Leah Torner.  His paternal grandparents were James Waterhouse and Mary; his maternal grandparents were George Torner and Mary. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Levi, Joseph, Harriott, Hannah, Grace, Elizabeth, Caroline and Alice.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
