William Letts

William was born in 1848 in Brixton, Surrey.¹   William's father was William Letts and his mother was Jane Ward.  His paternal grandparents were Michael Letts and Lucy; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ward and Lydia Everett. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Walter, Frank, Ernest, Eleanor, L, Annie and Lydia.  He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Walter and Eleanor.
