He died 8th May 1939 at 154 Denmark Street,Plaistow,West Ham.
Walter was a cabinet maker working at the London Rubber Company,but he also made propellors for the Wright Brothers company,one of which was exhibited at the Science Museum in 1940.
Walter married Anna Catherina Margaretta Bahrenburg at West Ham Parish Church in 1895,their only child Walter was born in 1896.
