James Curnock 
James was born in 1793 and his baptism took place on August 25th, 1793 in Uley, Glos.. James' father was James Curnock and his mother was Sarah Dowdell. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Curnock and Amelia Baglin; his maternal grandparents were Mathew Dowdell and Mary Combe. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Dennis, George, Charles, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.-
