George Curnock 
George was born in 1798. George's father was James Curnock and his mother was Sarah Dowdell. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Curnock and Amelia Baglin; his maternal grandparents were Mathew Dowdell and Mary Combe. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Dennis, James, Charles, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children.-
