Hazel Evelyne was born in 1903 in Collingwood.1  Hazel Evelyne's father was Edwin Joseph PROSSER and her mother was Ethel Maude GRATION.  Her paternal grandparents were William John PROSSER and Elizabeth Amelia ARTHUR. She had a brother and two sisters, named Edwin William, Dorothy Irene and Gwen Ethel.  She was the second oldest of the four children.
