George Edward was born in 1905 in Wandiligong.1  George Edward's father was Andrew Ross FAULKNER and his mother was Marie Louise DAGON.  His paternal grandparents were William FAULKNER and Ellen Anne SWAN; his maternal grandparents are Jules DAGON and Margaret SCHOULLER. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Alex, Jules Andrew, Ross Percival, Alice Louise, Margaret Ellen, Edith Grace and Jean Mavis.  He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named William Manton.  He died at the age of 55 on December 23rd, 1960 in Mt Gambier.
