Charles Henry was born in 1877. Charles Henry's father was John Henry CHALLEN and his mother was Esther Ocean GRAHAM.  His paternal grandparents were Charles William CHALLEN and Jane MERRETT; his maternal grandfather is GRAHAM. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William Norman, John Linton Graham, Stanley Gordon, Thomas, Edith Maud, Harriet Elizabeth, Esther Alexander, Alice Ada, Lilias Eveline and Stella Charlotte.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 91 in 1968.
