Pierre Ogier

Pierre was born on January 30th, 1763 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and his baptism took place on January 30th, 1763 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   His godfather was Pierre Ogier and his godmother was Jeanne Huet.  Pierre's father was Jean Ogier and his mother was Catherine Ogier.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Thomas, Judith and Catherine.  He was the youngest of the five children.
