Thomas Ogier

Thomas was born on September 3rd, 1758 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and his baptism took place on September 3rd, 1758 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   His godfather was Pierre Ogier jr and his godmother was Judith Flere (his wife).  Thomas' father was Jean Ogier and his mother was Catherine Ogier.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Pierre, Judith and Catherine.  He was the third oldest of the five children.
