Ester Ogier

Ester was born on May 10th, 1804 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on May 26th, 1804 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   Her godfather was Pierre Ogier and her godmother was Marthe Henry (his wife).  Ester's father was Thomas Ogier and her mother was Ester Corbet.  Her paternal grandparents were Jean Ogier and Catherine Ogier; her maternal grandparents were Charles Corbet and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Jean, James, Judith and Rachel.  She was the third youngest of the six children.
