Henry was born in 1846 in Kingston Upon Hull, Yorkshire, England.1 Henry's father was Thomas Avison and his mother was Maria Warner. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Christopher and Maria. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named John.General Notes
