William's father was William Alfred Robert Beaumont and his mother was Sarah Louise Carrington.  His paternal grandparents were Alfred Beaumont and Emma Marion Collins. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, Alexander, Sarah, Harriet, Lilly, Emma, Ellen, Anna, Dora and Grace.  He died at just 10 days old on April 13th, 1884.¹
