Alexander's father was William Alfred Robert Beaumont and his mother was Sarah Louise Carrington.  His paternal grandparents were Alfred Beaumont and Emma Marion Collins. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, William, Sarah, Harriet, Lilly, Emma, Ellen, Anna, Dora and Grace.  William and Alexander were twins.  He died at the age of 54 on February 20th, 1946 in Brisbane, Queensland.¹
